About Geekbleek.com

Hi! I'm Casey Bleeker.  I love to build, problem solve, write, code, make, and explore the outdoors - all made better if doing these things with great people.

In short: I am a geek.  Hence: Geekbleek

I am not a huge fan of blogs.  No one really wants to read your rant on why the caramel macchiato at Starbucks has too many calories, or why you think Blockchain-Metaverse-AI-Crypto is the new big trend.

However, I do love sharing and teaching. I also find myself years later trying to remember how I completed a project, or explain to others something I put together. In the best case, I have to hunt down files and images and bad notes from an ancient NAS to share anything of value. Worst case I'm trying to explain how I created some abstract solution to a non-existent problem (Halloween candy dispenser?!) and finding I didn't even document it enough to have a picture to share.

My goal of Geekbleek.com is to document my projects and hobbies for my own record while getting a little self-hosted publishing experience (Ghost!).  I have benefited greatly from others taking the time to record their own learnings on similar sites, and hopefully you have stumbled on something of value to your own projects or interests here!
